Dr. Liane Jeffs is the St. Michael’s Hospital Volunteer Association Chair in Nursing Research, and a Scientist in the Keenan Research Centre of the Li Ka Shing Knowledge Institute of St. Michael’s Hospital. Her research program focuses on the development and implementation of high-quality care transitions and use of performance data to drive care, looking beyond nursing to the interplay between nurses, physicians and other health disciplines as well as leveraging the patient and family experience. Her academic credentials include a BScN and MSc from the Faculty of Nursing, University of Toronto, and a PhD from the Department of Health, Poligy, Management and Evaluation at the Faculty of Medicine, University of Toronto.
