Coordinating Data Management Platform initiative

Postdoctoral Fellowship Opportunity

Canadian Frailty Network (CFN) is seeking a Postdoctoral Fellow, to coordinate the Network’s Data Management Platform initiative under the direction of the CFN Scientific Director andthe Initiative Steering Committee.

CFN’s mandate is to improve the care of frail older Canadians and support their families and caregivers by increasing frailty recognition and assessment, by providing evidence for decision making, by training the next generation to care for this vulnerable population, and by advocating for change in health and social care systems to ensure that the needs of this vulnerable population are met.

In producing evidence to guide healthcare decision making, our intent is also to maximize the utilization of the data obtained by creating a Network Data Management Platform (DMP) to standardize data and outcomes for frailty studies. In addition to coordinating the Network’s Data Management Platform initiative, the successful candidate will also participate in the CFN Interdisciplinary Training Program, and will be expected to produce high quality products for publication and Network use.
