Time to confront #MeToo in medicine

Jayna Holroyd-Leduc, Chair of CFN's Knowledge Translation Committee, and Sharon Straus, CFN Board Member, recently wrote an editorial in the  August issue of the Canadian Medical Association Journal (CMAJ) calling for a culture of respect within medicine. They call for a series of changes, such as having more women in leadership roles, encouraging people to speak up when they see or experience bullying or harassment and having a system to evaluate on-the-job behaviour when considering someone for a promotion.

Their thought-provoking work was also highlighted in a Globe and Mail story today.
