2017 CFN Interdisciplinary Fellowship Program

About the 2017 competition
The CFN Interdisciplinary Fellowship Program goes beyond traditional academic and clinical training opportunities by offering enriched experiential learning and interdisciplinary collaboration.
CFN will contribute a maximum of 50% of the Fellowship funding and applicants must confirm within their application a partner that has agreed to provide at least matching funds in cash. All funding must be paid as Fellow stipends only.
The number of fellowships will be determined by the quality of the applicants and the number of applicants received per fellowship level.
Funding levels are:
|Master's student level
|PhD student level
|Postdoctoral or working professional level
Individuals from any discipline are encouraged to apply, so long as their proposed activities align with the strategic priorities of CFN related to improving care for older Canadians living with frailty. Eligibility requirements are fully outlined in the Program Guidelines.
Deadlines for 2017 Competition
Only those applicants that submitted their Intent to Apply online by 12 noon ET on Monday, May 15, 2017 were eligible to later submit for consideration a full application package.
Full Application packages were due by 12 noon ET on Friday, June 2, 2017, only from those that registered Intent to Apply.

The full Application Package consists:
- Application Form -- online beginning May 17
- Applicant’s CV -- to be uploaded online beginning May 17
- Required signatures form
- Endorsement form from proposed Fellowship Supervisor
- Professional References form (2 required)
- Partner Letters of Support
- Transcripts for all post-secondary and clinical/medical school studies
