2018 Summer Student Awards

CFN's Summer Student Program has been designed to provide students with an interdisciplinary summer experience, which that will allow participants to develop a frame of reference for examining health and social care experiences for Canada's older adults living with frailty.

Funding of up to $4,000 each is available, with at least 100% in guaranteed matching funds required from the student's supervisor. Both must be paid as student salary and benefits only.  Up to 10 students will be funded in this competition.

In New Brunswick, the competition is presented in collaboration with the New Brunswick Health Research Foundation (NBHRF). Up to two students from New Brunswick (NB) will be funded under the terms of the collaboration, with NBHRF as the matching fund partner for NB applicants.

Undergraduate students are eligible to apply if they are enrolled full-time in an undergraduate degree program at an eligible Canadian university at the time of application. Applicants must have completed all of the course requirements of at least the first year of study in their programs (two academic terms), and must be in good academic standing with their universities.
