Dr. Émond is an Emergency Physician and Associate Professor in the Department of Family and Emergency Medicine at the Centre Hospitalier Universitaire (CHU) de Québec. Dr. Émond obtained his MD from Université de Montréal, and subsequently completed residency training in Family Medicine at McGill University, followed by a fellowship in Emergency Medicine from Laval University. Dr. Émond also holds a Master’s degree in Clinical Research specializing in Emergency Medicine from Laval University. Dr. Émond’s research program includes examining how health care technologies can improve health-related outcomes in patients who are at risk for poorer health.
