Jananee is a doctoral student in the Faculty of Nursing at the University of Alberta. She has over 15 years of combined experience in direct clinical practice, administration, post-secondary education and patient-oriented research. Her research experience and interest are in the area of frailty and aging, patient engagement and patient and family-centred care. For her doctoral research, she will examine the relationship between hospitalization episodes and frailty to inform care practices of community dwelling older adults who receive home care. Jananee wants to affect change at both health systems and policy levels in effective, sustainable and meaningful ways.
