2013 Core Research Program Grant — Reengineering the Discharge of Elderly Patients from Intensive Care (CORE 2013-12)

François Lamontagne is an Associate Professor at the Université de Sherbrooke, an intensivist at the Centre Hospitalier Universitaire de Sherbrooke, and a  researcher at the Centre de recherche clinique Étienne-Le Bel. He is the instigator of the Research Platform for Patient-Centered Research at these institutions, a resource designed to facilitate investigator-led, peer-review funded research projects chiefly conducted on behalf of the Canadian Critical Care Trials Group. After earning his medical degree at the Université de Montréal and his clinical training in general internal medicine and critical care, Dr. Lamontagne completed a master’s degree in pharmacology from the Université de Sherbrooke, and a master’s degree in clinical epidemiology and biostatistics at McMaster University.
