Dr. Lauck is a Clinical Assistant Professor in the School of Nursing at the University of British Columbia. Dr. Lauck is also a Clinician Scientist at the Centre for Heart Valve Innovation at St. Paul’s Hospital, Clinician Nurse Specialist at the Transcatheter Heart Valve Program at St. Paul’s Hospital, and Clinical Director for the Provincial Structural Heart Disease Program at Cardiac Services BC, Provincial Health Services Authority. Dr. Lauck received her Masters of Nursing, and Ph.D. in Nursing, both from the University of British Columbia. Dr. Lauck’s program of research is focused on the delivery of health services to support the implementation of innovative approaches to cardiac disease, and the study of patients’ experiences of minimally invasive treatment of valvular heart disease. In these roles, Dr. Lauck aims to link clinical practice, policy, and research through an active engagement with patients, clinicians, researchers, and government organizations.
