Lauren is currently a MSc Epidemiology student at Queen’s University. She holds a MSc in Neuroscience from Carleton University and BSc Honours degrees in Neuroscience and Mental Health (Carleton) and Biology/Psychology (Queen’s). Her research interests and past projects have focused on conditions primarily affecting older adults, such as Parkinson’s disease, stroke and dementia. Currently, her thesis project under the supervision of Dr. Dallas Seitz is investigating the prevalence and outcomes associated with the use of multiple medications that can lead to adverse cardiac effects in older adults in Ontario.
