Dr. Jeffrey Perry is a Senior Scientist in the Clinical Epidemiology Program of the Ottawa Hospital Research Institute, as well as an Emergency Physician at The Ottawa Hospital. At the University of Ottawa, he is an Associate Professor in the Department of Emergency Medicine and of Population Health and Preventive Medicine in the School of Epidemiology, while also holding the position of Research Chair in Emergency Neurological Research. Dr. Perry completed the Family Medicine Residency Program at the Memorial University of Newfoundland and Emergency Medicine Residency Program at the University of Manitoba. He followed this with completion of the Emergency Medicine Research Fellowship at the University of Ottawa, receiving a Master of Science in Epidemiology in 2002. Perry’s research interests include clinical decision rules, subarachnoid hemorrhage, emergency medicine and systematic review and meta-analysis.
