2012 Core Research Program Grant — Sex differences in admission to intensive care units: the role of social support factors (CORE 2012-19)
Clare Ramsey is an Attending Physician of Respiratory Medicine and Critical Care at the Health Sciences Centre and an Assistant Professor in the Departments of Medicine and Community Health Sciences at the University of Manitoba. She completed her MD and critical care residency at the University of Manitoba, an MSc at the Harvard School of Public Health, and a research fellowship in Respiratory Environmental and Genetic Epidemiology at Brigham and Women’s Hospital. Her research interests are in sleep disorders and obesity, parental risk factors for childhood asthma, macrophage dysfunction and tuberculosis, and outcomes of patients leaving hospital against medical advice.
