Dr. Read is an Assistant Professor in the Faculty of Nursing at the University of New Brunswick and an Affiliate Researcher at the UNB Institute of Biomedical Engineering.  With a background in kinesiology and nursing, she has many research interests and enjoys collaborating with diverse teams of researchers across the country and internationally.  Her program of research in health services leadership and innovation focuses on supporting informal and formal care providers through leadership, healthy work environments, and technology. Prior to completing her PhD, Dr. Read worked as a staff nurse on a busy geriatric rehabilitation unit at the Parkwood Institute in London, Ontario.
