Sam Searle is a geriatrician based out of Dalhousie University and practices medicine at the Nova Scotia Health Authority. He completed his medical training and residencies in Internal and Geriatric Medicine at Dalhousie University. Concurrently to his clinical practice, he is pursuing a PhD in epidemiology with the MRC Unit of Lifelong Health and Ageing at UCL. He has numerous peer reviewed publications on frailty and cognitive impairment. His research interest is on the recovery from acute illness in inpatients living with frailty and how patterns of recovery predict frail trajectories and functional outcomes.
