Dr. Sheets is an Associate Professor in the School of Nursing at the University of Victoria. She received her PhD in Gerontology and Public Policy from the University of Southern California. She is a Fellow of the American Academy of Nursing and has more than 20 years of clinical nursing experience. Dr. Sheets’ areas of expertise include aging policy, program evaluation, family caregiving, and nursing education. Her research focuses on identifying models and strategies to increase access by older adults to community-based services and benefits.
