Gilbert Tessier

Gilbert retired from Hydro-Quebec in 1996 after 37 years as an engineer and manager. Following retirement, he pursued his passion for life-long learning taking a variety of courses (philosophy, theology, economy etc) at L’Université du Troisième âge de l’Université Laval. Since 2012 Gilbert has served on the Board of Administration of Collectif 55+, a group of like-minded retirees who actively take part in work to improve their local community. Gilbert is striving to remain active both in his community and for his health, as he continues to pursue his favourite sports of skiing and golf.
