Dr. Daniel McIsaac receives Ontario Early Researcher award

CFN Principal Investigator, Dr. Daniel McIsaac, has received an Early Researcher Award from the government of Ontario. Dr. McIsaac is a professor in the Department of Anesthesiology and Pain Medicine who leads the Aging Innovation in Perioperative Medicine and Surgery Research Group at the Ottawa Hospital Research Institute. His research focuses on improving surgery outcomes for older people with frailty by evaluating interventions and health system performance.

Dr. McIsaac received additional funding from CIHR in March 2019 to support his project previously funded by the Canadian Frailty Network.
