The CUFA BC Distinguished Academics Awards celebrate these ideas that contribute to the non-academic community and demonstrate the necessity and vitality of public university-based research and scholarly activity. Kelli’s awared was named after Ehor Boyanowsky, the CUFA BC president who created the Distinguished Academics Awards during his term.

This award recognizes a specific and recent outstanding contribution to the community beyond the academy through research or other scholarly activity by an individual or group at any stage of their career, and that certainly applies to Kelli. Kelli has been an active participant in Canadian Frailty Network since our inception, is a Network Investigator, and currently volunteers on our Citizen Engagement Committee. Congratulations, Kelli … well deserved!

Kelli will accept her award on April 20th at the Awards Gala Dinner in Vancouver.
