FRAILTY MATTERS video contest

OPEN TO CURRENT CFN TRAINEES (HQP) AND ALUMNI

CFN is looking for video clips from our trainees (HQP) and HQP alumni.

Create a video of one to three minutes in length sharing your experiences with someone who is an older adult living with frailty, or their family/friend caregiver, and you could win!

The top three videos will receive gift cards from the retailer of choice: $250, $150 and $100 respectively.  There will also be a draw from all entries for a $50 gift card. Selected videos will be featured on the CFN website and social media, or used in other CFN communications and events.

2019 Training Programs

Graduate and doctoral students, postdocs, residents and other working professionals have an opportunity to extend their learning through the CFN Interdisciplinary Fellowship Program. Undergraduate students have an opportunity to extend their learning through the CFN Summer Student Awards Program. Both are experiential programs offered in partnership with member institutions and partners across the country, and in New Brunswick, in collaboration with the New Brunswick Health Research Foundation (NBHRF). Those who submitted a Pre-Application Intent to Apply by the deadline (November 13, 2018 at 12 noon ET) were eligible to submit a full application package (due December 11, 2018). Click here for more details on the 2019 Summer Student Awards, and click here for more details on the 2019 Interdisciplinary Fellowship Program.

Summer Student Awards 2018

Thirteen undergraduate students were funded in the sixth annual cohort of the CFN Summer Student Awards, representing seven disciplines at nine Host Institutions in five provinces. The competition was presented in collaboration with the New Brunswick Health Research Foundation (NBHRF), who provided funding for two students from New Brunswick. For full details on the 2018 successful candidates and the competition, click here.

Interdisciplinary Fellowship Program 2018 

Eleven Fellows were recently funded in the 2018 CFN Fellowship, representing six disciplines at eight host institutions in five provinces. The  CFN Fellowships are for one year, begining September 1, 2018. The competition was presented in collaboration with the New Brunswick Health Research Foundation (NBHRF), who provided funding for two Fellows from New Brunswick. For full details on the 2018 successful candidates and the competition, click here.
