Dr. Burge is Professor and Research Director, Department of Family Medicine, Dalhousie University. He obtained his BA and MD from Queen’s University and his MSc (Epidemiology and Biostatistics) from McGill University. His research interests are focused on improving primary care through the application of research evidence in this setting and developing tools and strategies to improve that care. He is also interested in research and evaluation of new models of primary care such as using tools like frailty assessments. He is particularly interested in supporting the next generation of researchers in family medicine.
