Dr. Geist is Program Chief and Medical Director of Mental Health at Trillium Health Partners, and Associate Professor of Psychiatry at the University of Toronto. She obtained her MD, and completed residency and fellowship training in Psychiatry from the University of Toronto. She subsequently completed a Diploma in Child Psychiatry from the University of Toronto.
