Jenna Smith-Turchyn is a physiotherapist and Assistant Professor in the School of Rehabilitation Science at McMaster University, and Associate Member in the Centre for Discovery in Cancer Research at McMaster University.
Further, she is a board member for the Canadian Physiotherapy Association’s Oncology Division. Jenna’s research and clinical work focus on cancer rehabilitation and rehabilitation for older adults with multi-morbidity. Specifically, implementation strategies related to rehabilitation to maximize function and participation for individuals of all ages and stages of disease. Jenna has a strong interest in health equity and is currently exploring rehabilitation strategies for ‘hard to reach’ Canadians.
