Dr. Ron Wald is a staff physician in the Division of Nephrology at St. Michael’s Hospital, and a Scientist in the Hospital’s Keenan Research Centre and Li Ka Shing Knowledge Institute. He is also an Assistant Professor of Nephrology in the Department of Medicine at the University of Toronto, His research interests are in acute kidney injury, chronic kidney disease, dialysis, mineral metabolism, diagnostic tools in Nephrology, and patient safety. He is engaged in clinical trials and studies using administrative databases to address questions in these areas.
