Dr. Pamela Jarrett currently works a geriatrician in the Department of Geriatric Medicine, Horizon Health Network in Saint John and as Medical Officer of Primary Care in the Department of Health in New Brunswick. She was previously the Clinical Department Head of Geriatric Medicine from 1999 to 2010. She completed her undergraduate studies in Science at the University of New Brunswick and attended Medical School at Dalhousie University.  She completed her Internal Medicine and Geriatric Medicine Fellowships at Dalhousie University. She is actively involved in the clinical care of older adults living with frailty, teaching and research as well as administratively in the Department of Health. Her research interests are in care of older adults living with frailty, dementia, medication appropriateness and alternate level of care patients. She is also a researcher with the Canadian Consortium of Neurodegeneration in Aging.
