HOLD THE DATE … CFN 2019 National Conference

The Canadian Frailty Network’s next National Conference will be held in Toronto on September 26-27.

Frailty matters. 1.2 million Canadians 65-plus live with frailty as do 2.5 million Canadians who are their caregivers and hundreds of thousands more in our healthcare workforce.

CFN is Canada’s only national network dedicated to older Canadians living with frailty and all responsible for their well-being. Our national conference is a unique opportunity to examine frailty from many aspects/perspectives at a single event.

The National Conference offers attendees opportunities to learn, network, brainstorm new ideas, address key questions and challenges. Attendees include older Canadians living with frailty and their family/friend caregivers, clinicians, researchers, students and trainees, health and social care providers, policy decision makers and experts in the field of frailty. Attendees hear from leading Canadian and international experts in the field of care for older adults – addressing the full continuum of care, education/training and citizen engagement. The Conference also offers students and trainees in CFN’s Interdisciplinary Training Program an opportunity to network, gain valuable abstract and poster submission experience, and hear from experts. Click here to read more about their experience in 2018 and see the top posters and abstracts.
