CFN Board Chair receives honourary degree

The Honourable Sharon Carstairs, P.C. today received an honourary Doctor of Laws at the Dalhousie University Faculty of Health Professions Convocation.

In honouring Ms. Carstairs, Dalhousie described her as a “dedicated teacher, a political trailblazer, a champion for palliative care and an advocate for women and children who have experienced abuse.” The honour was particularly rewarding for Ms. Carstairs, a Dalhousie graduate.
