Kevin Woo is an Assistant Professor at Queen’s University, School of Nursing in Kingston, Canada. Kevin is also an Adjunct Research Professor at Western University responsible for teaching research in their Masters of Clinical Science in Wound Healing program. He served on expert panels to develop Best Practice Guidelines (BPG) in collaboration with Registered Nurses Association in Ontario for the Assessment and Management of Stage 1 to 4 Pressure Ulcers and Screening for Dementia, Delirium and Depression in older persons. Dr. Woo is a recipient of the Early Research Award from the Ministry of Research and Innovation (2014-2019). His research program focuses on the application of chronic disease management model to improve the management of chronic wounds. His research activities include developing virtual community for social support, identifying risk factors for poor wound healing, developing strategies to address adherence and emotional stress, and improving the translation of scientific evidence into clinical practice.
