Chelsia Gillis is a Registered Dietitian and currently enrolled in the Epidemiology PhD program at the University of Calgary under the supervision of Drs. Leah Gramlich and Tanis Fenton. Chelsia is a Research Mentor with the Patient and Community Engagement Research (PaCER) program at the University of Calgary, which involves training patients to conduct formal qualitative engagement research for health and quality improvement. Chelsia received her Masters in Human Nutrition & Dietetics from McGill University and has worked with Dr. Francesco Carli as a Clinical Research Associate on both Prehabilitation and Enhanced Recovery After Surgery investigations. Chelsia was awarded an Interdisciplinary Fellowship in 2016 by the Canadian Frailty Network and is a Vanier Doctoral Scholar.
