Brian Gray is Principal at Brian Gray Law specializing in intellectual property law. He is a former senior partner at Norton Rose Fulbright Canada LLP in Toronto. He counsels and represents clients in disputes and transactions involving intellectual property and advises entrepreneurs and start-up companies on the financing and commercialization of intellectual property. Brian has served for over 10 years on the board of the National Biotechnology Advisory Committee reporting to the Minister of Industry on Science Policy. Brian has also been the lawyer for one of Ontario’s leading bioscience companies. His experience includes brand name pharmaceutical patent litigation and notice of compliance cases, inventorship claims and patent disputes in the academic sector, trade secret cases, technology transfer and intellectual property commercialization, financing and licensing; patent drafting and patent opinions. For seven years, Brian served on the board of PARTEQ Innovations Inc., a non-profit technology transfer firm affiliated with Queen’s University.
