Originally from England where she trained as a nurse and midwife, Gaie now lives in London, Ontario. After coming to Canada she worked in Hamilton, ON and London, ON hospitals as an Registered Nurse. She has a diploma in Public Health and a Masters Degree in Health Sciences from McMaster University. Her experience in the healthcare field is varied having served first as a Registered Nurse, continuing on to become an educator through Public Health and the Arthritis Society, as well as supporting children and families at the Easter Seals Society. Gaie has been an active member on numerous Boards in her community, and volunteers with Patient Partners and Seniors Learning in Retirement.
