Jerold C. Hodge is a Seniors Patient Advisor with the Mid-West Toronto Health Link. He has been heavily involved in the Toronto education sector, having designed and led numerous leadership development courses for the Toronto Board and Ministry of Education in the 1980s and 1990s, as well as serving as a high school biology and chemistry teacher, vice-principal and principal. Hodge received his BA in English and Psychology at the University of Toronto, completing extensive post-degree course work in biological sciences and chemistry to obtain a Type “A” Teaching Certificate – Biology. In addition, he received his MEd in Administration and Program Planning from the University of Toronto’s Ontario Institute for Studies in Education. Hodge’s areas of interest include senior health education, parameters of aging, illness prevention and injury avoidance and mitigation.
