In addition to being the Academic Department Head and an Associate Professor in the Department of Emergency Medicine at the Cumming School of Medicine at the University of Calgary, Dr. Eddy Lang is a Senior Researcher and the Clinical Department Head for Emergency Medicine, Calgary Zone, at Alberta Health Services. He also holds positions as Senior Associate Editor for the Canadian Journal of Emergency Medicine, Associate Editor for ACP Journal Club and the International Journal of Emergency Medicine. Upon obtaining his MD from McGill University, Lang completed his specialty training at the Jewish General Hospital, where he proceeded to serve in the Emergency Department on the McGill faculty. Dr. Lang’s research interests include knowledge translation, evidence-based medicine and faculty development.
