2015 Implementation Grant — Incorporating a frailty dimension into LOCUS for seniors in a medical-psychiatry population (FRA 2015-B-05)
Dr. Benoit Mulsant is the Chair of the Department of Psychiatry in the Faculty of Medicine at the University of Toronto, as well as Senior Scientist at the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health. Dr. Mulsant received his MD from Université Laval’s School of Medicine, completing his internship in internal medicine and neurology at Royal Victoria Hospital and Montreal Neurological Hospital, and his residency in psychiatry at Western Psychiatric Institute and Clinic, University of Pittsburgh. In addition to being a Fellow of the Royal College of Psychiatry (Canada), he is also a Distinguished Fellow of the American Psychiatric Association and a founding member of the International College of Geriatric Psychoneuropharmacology. Mulsant’s research covers the demographics of an aging population and improving the treatment of seniors with severe mental disorders.
