Tracey Rickards is an Assistant Professor in the Faculty of Nursing at the University of New Brunswick. Before completing her PhD at Dalhousie University’s School of Nursing, she completed her Bachelor of Nursing and Masters of Nursing at the University of New Brunswick. Dr. Rickards holds a CIHR Embedded Clinician Researcher Salary award, releasing her from fifty percent of her teaching responsibilities in order to engage in transformative research at the Fredericton Downtown Community Health Centre. Her research focus is on improving health outcomes for vulnerable populations. Recent research includes the evaluation of nurse practitioner outcomes in New Brunswick.
