Josie Visentini, PhD Pfizer Canada

Dr. Josie Visentini is a Medical Advisor working in Rare Diseases at Pfizer Canada. She received her PhD in chemistry (mass spectrometry) at the Université de Montréal and more recently became a certified Project Management Professional. Over the years, she has acquired a broad range of experience in pharmaceutical research in both Global R&D and Medical Affairs roles. She has worked in several therapeutic areas including asthma, neuropathic pain, fibromyalgia, osteoarthritis and rare diseases. Her research interests include the development of strategies and programs to support delivery of evidence-based care into the community and to support quality improvement initiatives with the aim of generating better patient outcomes and healthcare system efficiencies.
