Kimberley Wilson is an Assistant Professor in Adult Development & Aging in the Department of Family Relations and Applied Nutrition at the University of Guelph.  With training in social work and gerontology, Dr. Wilson’s program of research focuses on improving mental health and well-being for older adults.  In particular Dr. Wilson is interested in understanding intersections of ageism and stigma for older adults living with dementia and mental illness. Dr. Wilson is a founding member of the Diverse Experiences in Aging Research (DEAR) Team.  The DEAR Team is currently exploring the experience of aging for individuals with diverse sexual orientations and/or gender identities.
