Dr. Winnie Sun completed her PhD in Nursing and collaborative graduate program in Health Services and Policy Research at the University of Toronto. She was a Post-Doctoral Fellow at AGE-WELL (Canada’s Technology and Aging Network), and she is currently an Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Health Sciences at the Ontario Tech University. She is passionate about teaching her nursing students about the care of older adults in the community, especially older adults with cognitive impairment. Her areas of research expertise include dementia care; deprescribing of medications; and development of gerontechnology for older adults to support aging in place.
